Why the Village Model?

Many young people entering residential care have experienced repeated trauma, loss and placement disruption. Too often, they have been required to rebuild trust, adapt to new environments and say goodbye to the people they have come to rely on.

At Progressive Youth Care, we believe lasting change begins with stability. The Role of Our Youth Workers

A PYCC youth worker is responsible for the care, support, and development of young people within the residential care environment. Youth workers play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere, ensuring the needs of youth are met, and fostering their personal, social, and educational development. Youth workers engage with young people through various activities, programs, and support systems to help them overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve their potential.

Our diverse and dedicated team commits to continuous and comprehensive training programs to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective support for our young people.
